We have done 50+ successful events with over 1000+ attendees and now we are focusing on investor outreach.
We are looking for an "ad hoc" virtual founding team to seek funding. We are looking for someone in the Bay Area that has a somewhat "fundable" background. You would help with the funding outreach and would only require to do "real work" once we get funding and can pay everyone. SO this is an equity position to start.
Develop overall sales & marketing strategy, targeting local merchants in the San Jose area
Identify and create marketing pitch, selling materials to target specific merchant segments
Build and manage the pipeline of prospective merchants
Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships that leverage reach and sales opportunities
Build and manage inside and outside sales team
Create and manage affiliates program
7+ years experience in Business Development / Sales, including experience negotiating successful business partnerships.
At least 2 years experience target SMEs, especially restaurants, spas, or salons
Comfortable with both “big picture” strategy and hands-on cold-calling into various types of local businesses
Unusually high degree of persistence and sales prowess
Demonstrates a high level diligence and accountability
Has the ability to leverage social and professional networks to discover new opportunities
Able to research and target businesses in cities nationwide
