BlendAbout is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated person to lead our digital and traditional marketing efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, from a planning, implementation, and analysis. You will have demonstrated knowledge of how to drive consumer and business engagement within online social networks and the tools needed to do so; possesses a strong interest in web technology and the digital marketing space, as well as a passion for the culinary/hospitality space.
Utilizing various social media outlets, such as Twitter, Facebook & Pinterest, to build brand awareness and user adoption.
Creating content, deliver regular analytics, and drive strong campaign engagement performance
Managing presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar. community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
Discovering new promotional outlets.
Helping to write and design marketing collateral and campaigns.
Regularly sharing feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with the team to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion. Monitoring trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
Ensuring written copy is search engine optimized.
Regularly conducting competitive research.
Must have at least 2 years of demonstrated consumer marketing experience.
Preferably, you will have had at least 1 year of experience working at an early stage startup.
Proven experience using social networking tools and platforms.
Networking know-how and a love for meeting new people. You’re a mature, polished communicator who can interact with existing users, as well as potential customers and vendors.
Excellent verbal and written skills. May be requested to provide writing samples.

Ability to work individually and in a team environment. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Must embrace accountability and display a sense of ownership over your work.
Must have at least 2 years of demonstrated consumer marketing experience and at least 1 year of experience working at an early stage startup.
A love for the culinary/restaurant/hospitality industry is a major plus.
We're pre-funded, so this is currently an equity-only position with potential for monthly bonuses. Hours are very flexible, but reliability is a must. We have a lot of exciting things happening over the next few months, so this is a great time to hop on board.
