The App Economy is growing exponentially and Arxan is well-positioned to lead with its unique innovative technology that makes applications tamper-resistant and self-protected against hacking attacks.

Arxan is seeking a Director of Business Development to develop and manage a set of strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business development initiatives that enhance the value of the company through improved revenue growth and market position. Opportunities span a wide range of strategic GTM partnerships (such as OEM, resell, referral, co-sell, strategic licensing/sell-to, and influence relationships) and strategic technology partnerships that add significant value to the business. Example fields include complementary software vendors in application security, mobile security, IT security, content security, and application development platforms/tools, hardware platform/security vendors, and professional services firms (security consultancies and application development providers). This position will report to Vice President of Business Development and is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Identify and initiate new strategic opportunities and partnerships
Develop and position partnership value, rationale, and business case
Structure and negotiate partnership frameworks, deal terms, and formal agreements
Build and foster close relationships with key people in partner organizations
Plan and execute successful go-to-market activities (e.g., sales and marketing enablement and engagement) for solutions with partners
Coordinate cross-functional execution with internal and partner stakeholders across product management, marketing, sales, engineering, and finance/legal
Contribute to new growth opportunities and strategic initiatives for the company (e.g., new business concepts, markets, offerings, business models)
Experience
At least 5 - 7 years of relevant high-quality professional experience with a significant track record in strategic business development / alliances
Entrepreneurial, highly proactive approach to taking initiative. Comfort (and preferably experience) in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial environment
Experience in security, mobile, applications / software development fields
Strong strategic thinking skills to identify, analyze, and develop new opportunities as well as rigorous tactical execution to implement initiatives and drive business results
Ability to engage at a technical level with engineering and product management
Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills
Track record of exceptional performance at past roles
MBA from a leading university and/or advanced degree in a technical discipline
Technical undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, computer science) preferred
