Overview
Are you a mover, hand-shaker and rain maker? Yep, we’d like that.
We are seeking a Director of Business Development and Partnerships for our core team in Boston. This role is vital to the rapid international expansion we have set in motion, and to achieve our massive vision in the co-living innovation space and beyond. This core role will allow you to shake hands with the best of the best, make deals with the hottest companies and organizations, as well as work with the brightest entrepreneurs in the innovation economy.

WHO YOU ARE
The phone is your best friend. Meetings with executives and entrepreneurs make you feel like you just won a mini-lottery, and maybe even do a happy dance. You don’t feel fulfilled unless you are driving business success for your company. You think on your feet, listen more than you talk and are a professional story teller. Oh, and your track record of success will tell us you are all the above. You are not a jerk; our potential partners probably won’t like that, and neither will we.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Drive revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and corporate clients.
Be “first seat” on key partnership deals, including developing awesome biz dev proposals, sales marketing materials and creative tools to capture new partners.
Meet required sponsorship, partnership and corporate development quotas for each city.
Meetings, meetings and more meetings.
Work closely with our CEO to innovate on all sponsorship, partnership and corporate programs.
Be our networking machine and continue to spread the word of our awesome Krash brand.
Close deals, of course!
Experience
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE
Rainmaker, deal closer, meeting guru!
Experienced business development professional with a successful track record in building strategic alliances, partnerships, sponsorships and corporate relationships.
A great presenter. You’ll be presenting and cutting deals with the best of the best, so presentation confidence required.
An experienced proposal writer, high level communicator, and consultative business development professional.
An innovator! You will have your chance to make your mark on our business development and sponsorship programs.
Creative. You must be able to think outside the box to achieve the massive success we are aiming for, you know.
Some startup or rapidly growing company experience preferred. You must be able to pivot, move, shake, innovate and think on your feet as if you were starting your own company.
