Kargo is looking for a smart and driven Director of Client Services to join our Publisher Partnership Team.
In this new role, you will work closely with the SVP of Business Development to oversee operations of the
publisher management team, which services Kargo’s existing portfolio of premium media partners.
This position is New York based.
Overseeing daytoday operations of the publisher management team (group of 3 publisher managers and growing)
Accountable for overall satisfaction of publisher partners
Identifying, tracking, and exceeding publisher’s key performance indicators including revenue and sales channel considerations.
Providing strategic consulting services regarding inventory monetization strategies and policies, marketplace trends and best practices, and development of publisher direct sales.
Creating and maintaining strong and effective relationships with executive level decision makers, influencers and key members of ad operations in order to strengthen and renew contracts.
Coordinating and driving the publisher technology team to complete ad integration of Kargo’s full suite of advertising units
Liaising with Kargo’s sales leadership to coordinate efforts with publishing partners and generate upsell opportunities that benefit both Kargo and its partners
Working with marketing department to create special publisher packages, which are approved by publishers and which can be sold by the Kargo sales team
BA/BS required; MBA a strong plus
5 years experience working in client services and/or business development in the mobile or digital advertising industr
Strategic thinker, capable negotiator, able to think flexibly, outside the box
“Peopleperson” who can handle multiple personality types across wide range of clients
Experience managing a team required; must demonstrate ability to develop team members’ skills
Deep understanding of premium publisher landscape, monetization strategies, sales channel conflict management, internet display advertising technologies, industry trends
Highly organized problem solver, able to multitask
Highly developed interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skill
Bachelor's Degree Required (MBA a strong plus)
