Director of Consumer Marketing

Dotmenu, Inc., owner and operator of Allmenus and Campusfood, creates digital products that feed hungry customers and help restaurants grow. . We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Consumer Marketing to join our team. The Director of Consumer Marketing is responsible for new customer acquisition for and, using a variety of touch points and programs, including Internet, mobile, social media, viral, offline, co-marketing partnerships, PR and local events to grow our customer base and awareness of the Dotmenu’s brand.
Owning the overall strategy and implementation of all of Dotmenu’s online marketing efforts as well as analyzing acquisition program effectiveness which includes conducting attribution and cross-channel analysis (mobile, web, social, email) to ensure the effectiveness of our online marketing programs and strategies
Creating and implementing strategies and programs that drive profitable growth utilizing multiple interactive methods including: SEM, SEO, display media, affiliate and related analytics
Managing external media and advertising agencies
Partnering with PR and product management teams to ensure consistent messaging of the Brand
Search Engine Marketing
Oversee campaign optimization and strategies required growth
Oversee partner-driven promotional relationships and CPA programs
Develop new, creative methods for attracting customers to our products such as Facebook, Twitter and other social media programs
Research and determine effective strategies that will allow the company to capitalize on marketing opportunities in the online and mobile communities
Manage and negotiate external relationships such as agencies, vendors and list brokers
Continuously evaluate and identify ways to improve and optimize the performance of the overall SEM program
Recommend best practices in search for keyword expansion, competitive research and opportunity identification
Search Engine Optimization
Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data from web analytics tools into actionable SEO strategies.
Implement and manage social media strategies to increase site traffic and keyword rankings.
Research SEO best practices to identify necessary updates and new market opportunities.
Consistently analyze, measure, and track site ranking factors, including prime keywords, long-tail keywords, internal and external links, site content and competition.
Identify and implement new projects to expand visibility in search engines.
Minimum of 10 years Online Marketing including hands-on experience in search engine marketing and optimization with understanding of how it fits into overall online and business marketing strategies.
Experience building consumer marketing and acquisition programs for an Internet company.
Comprehensive knowledge of innovative and direct marketing techniques and approaches using industry best practices, including emerging channels like social media and mobile.
Comprehensive knowledge of online media including pay-per-click, banner advertising, sponsorships, search engine optimization, online aggregators, social media and analytics.
Experience in direct response marketing required
Experience with search engines, website architecture and basic online principles.
Very knowledgeable with keyword analysis techniques and software
Extensive background in all facets of online marketing - SEO, SEM, paid search, product placement, online advertising, etc. As well as more traditional marketing / advertising mediums.
In depth knowledge and a proven track record in driving consumer acquisition and activation, particularly focused on online services and direct marketing.
Ability to provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Detail-oriented, organized task manager who can prioritize and focus.
Demonstrated ability to manage sales/leads programs on the Web
Proven track record with driving web site traffic and experience with a variety of consumer-oriented marketing channels
Strong analytical abilities and experience with interpreting large amounts of customer and financial data. Must have the ability to distill and translate raw data into actionable intelligence to support short and long-term strategic goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
