Shoeboxed.com - a premier early-stage SaaS company headquartered in the Raleigh/Durham Triangle region - is seeking an experienced and energetic senior Director of Customer Acquisition to fill the last key management position in the company. Shoeboxed is a fast-moving, VC-funded, growth-phase company revolutionizing the way small business owners run their businesses. We are looking for an expert in data-driven acquisition marketing. The candidate must have proven experience in customer acquisition and conversion for SaaS / SMB products, and know how to experiment using multiple online channels to find the optimal way to drive rapid growth to our customer acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate:
• knows every online marketing channel (from SEM & SEO, email, display, to Facebook Ads, Retargeting, Customer Referrals and many more)
• loves data and Google Analytics, KissMetrics, Excel, and other similar tools
• spends their lunches or dinners drawing out CACs, CLVs, payback periods, and resulting needed CRs, CTRs, and CPMs on a napkin
• has experience in SaaS / SMB-targeted apps and can not only lead us in our next stage of customer growth, but is ready to take over marketing leadership up to the finish line of our start-up.

Conceive and execute online customer acquisition strategy across all markets
Experiment and open new channels to increase effectiveness of marketing programs and return on investment
Experiment with and optimize conversion paths, offers, sign-up and upgrade processes
Develop and manage reporting, forecasting and overall marketing plans for a broad team of marketing professionals
Engaging deeply in overall business strategy with the senior management team
At least a few years of progressive direct marketing experience, mostly in online marketing (B2B arenas and SaaS applications preferred)
Successful results conceiving, implementing, and optimizing direct marketing campaigns to drive significant customer acquisition and lead generation
Utilization of best practices in multiple online marketing channels to drive vast ROI results
Knowledge of direct marketing, segmentation, testing and measurement techniques
Start-up experience (optimally 1 or 2 successful ventures)
