Balihoo is looking for a leader in our rapidly-growing digital marketing space. We strategize, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns for the biggest brands in the country including Aflac, Kohler, Geico, Pearle Vision and many others. We specialize in helping these powerful national brands go-to-market locally through their networks of dealers, resellers and franchisees.
This role will lead the entire digital marketing team at Balihoo. Your key responsibility will be to put together the overall strategy and execute the local digital marketing program for our national brand clients and their affiliates.
This is a big job and we are looking for someone fantastic to be a superstar in this role. We need an individual with an already deep and extensive knowledge of digital marketing, and a burning desire to learn more. We need a leader who can drive high-level digital strategy while at the same time executing the millions of specific tactical items that need done. We need a strategic visionary and a midnight-oil-burning digital marketing machine. This is not a job for the timid, the slow-learners or the 40-hour-a-week clock-watchers.
Take ownership for the high-level digital marketing strategies that power our 50+ national brands and 50,000+ local affiliates
Hire, train and manage a high-performing team to implement these strategies and manage digital marketing from strategic development through implementation, reporting and optimization.
Own monthly digital reporting, both internal and external – including ongoing exception reporting to identify any issues before they impact us or our clients.
Responsible for managing the strategic partnerships with key partners in the space including the engines, ad properties, ad networks and strategic technology partners
Be the primary consultant into Balihoo Engineering regarding any digital marketing element of our application
Work with Balihoo Account Management and direct with our clients when implementing/executing/reporting against digital marketing activities
Assist in up-front sales processes when necessary to effectively communicate Balihoo’s value proposition and capabilities in the digital space
Deep knowledge/history with online advertising methodologies including PPC, CPA, CPM and display.
Intimate familiarity with Google Analytics specifically and other analytics applications as-needed.
Moderate level of SEO knowledge is required, with a desire to learn more
A desire for data – must be analytical, a whiz with spreadsheets and have the ability quickly turn massive amounts of data into actionable insights.
The more knowledge in the rapidly changing “local search” space the better – but at a minimum, a strong desire to become the digital expert in this space
Ability to effectively hire, train and manage a high-performing team.
Comfortable working directly with clients ranging from small, local affiliates to representing Balihoo’s capabilities to CMO’s at Fortune-500 brands.
