Globys is looking for an experienced software development leader to build on the current success for our R&A engineering team.
As Director of Engineering you will lead the architecture and development of our Reporting & Analytics products; already adopted by some of the world’s largest companies. You will work closely with Product, Program Management and the Engineering team to drive first class development standards.

Globys is looking for an experienced software development leader to build on the current success for our R&A engineering team.
As Director of Engineering you will lead the architecture and development of our Reporting & Analytics products; already adopted by some of the world’s largest companies. You will work closely with Product, Program Management and the Engineering team to drive first class development standards.

Responsibilities
Manage, mentor and grow Engineering and QA in an Agile environment with a focus on MS technologies (.NET, C#, MS-SQL, etc. with a HTML/JS frontend).
Lead, and be a key contributor, to the design and architecture process.
Work closely with Product and Program teams in release planning and scope prioritization
Contribute to our strategic technology/product direction and planning.
Maintain and improve upon an effective development environment (tools, code reviews, unit testing, etc).
Recruit and retain top development talent!
Experience
5+ years software engineering (or development) management experience.
Experience building enterprise-scale, online products using Microsoft technologies in an SOA environment.
Expertise in server-side web applications (Windows or Linux based).
Expertise with SQL (or NoSQL) data stores and understanding of big data technologies.
Thorough understanding engineering methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall.
