If so, MeeGenius is seeking a Director of Engineering with an entrepreneurial drive and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage engineering projections across a diverse portfolio of platforms. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of our engineering projects and who can deliver the product and technology visions. The successful candidate will streamline a scalable development and services process to enhance the company’s proficiency and turn-around time.
Own the overall planning, execution, and success of engineering efforts of technology team running concurrent projects.
Develop and enhance an engineering culture that is the envy of others, e.g., execute sprints with continuous delivery models and a “no fear” attitude.
Continuously improve processes, specifically product engineering methodology, to reduce cycle times, enhance deliverable quality, and establish world-class, benchmarked team and product performance.
In partnership with the head of Product, evaluate the product roadmap against the Company’s strategic direction, customer demands, market trends and competitor positioning. Work with the Product team, senior management, marketing and the engineering team to prioritize, scope and schedule deliverables. Work with Product Management in particular to create and sustain a “customer aware” product development process that incorporates market-based inputs to influence the product roadmap. Set and communicate cost and resource estimates, key milestones and product delivery dates that are realistic and consistent with business priorities.
Ramp up quickly on MeeGenius’s technology, product, business priorities, people and technical processes. Demonstrate deep, thoughtful understanding of the Company’s core technology, industry, market and competitive trends and business drivers. Assess and prioritize key issues and initiatives within the engineering team in the context of the Company’s corporate goals and priorities in marketing, sales and operations.
