Farmville. Draw Something. Words with Friends. These games that have paved the way for our product: a social interactive game that helps individuals prepare for educational tests.
Our product is built, we’re ready to launch and we’re looking for a strong technologist to lead the production team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science or Engineering, with a Master’s strongly preferred
• 5+ years’ professional experience, with 8+ strongly preferred
• Experience at another tech startup as a lead developer/engineer in a production environment
• Relatively recent programming background in one or more of these technologies: Java, MySQL, PHP, flash
• Strong command of multiple programming languages
• Experience developing for and administering Facebook applications, Amazon Web Services, Wordpress
• Understands start-up culture and product launch; Ability to work in a small team environment
• Experience managing outside developers/distributed teams/cloud-based software
• Experience with agile software development
• Must be a self-starter; this person will be expected to take initiative to identify problems and provide solutions without being prodded
• Must have strong communication skills
• Experience with game server software is a plus
Candidates must be located in New York and able to work onsite full time.
