Belly, a universal loyalty program based in Chicago, is seeking a scrappy Director of Marketing to join our team to lead various online marketing campaigns. This persons responsibilities would be wide ranging from email and SEO optimization to offline marketing.
Lead the Marketing Team into the sunset along the path to eternal glory through complete strategy, innovative tactics, beneficial partnerships and seamless execution
Work closely with all departments to build demand and increase brand awareness for Belly and Belly Merchants
Oversee all daily marketing efforts: Email campaigns, data segmentation and analytic breakdown
Utilize advanced research methods so that all marketing initiatives are data driven
Strategize email deliverability, performance improvement and cost management
Develop plans to improve customer and merchant acquisition, retention and reactivation through the use of online initiatives
Report to the CEO and Board of Directors
Desire to perform at such a high level that speaking at TED2013 on the Startup Marketing Panel is on your Bucket List
Have the experience and performance evidence to support your big mouth, particularly for multi-pronged marketing campaigns including: online marketing, product marketing, brand management, public relations, direct marketing and business development
Build and manage an analytics driven marketing team
Deliver aggressive growth with measurable ROI
Have superior knowledge of HTML, SQL and various marketing platforms
