Director of Sales

Overview
Our company is a startup with an exciting and challenging project. We are building a company that will change the consumer finance industry. Our ambitions are big and the purpose of the job is more than just to sell, it is to create a market for our services.

Our business includes sales to consumers as well as to businesses. As a director of sales, you will be responsible for both. The job is to create and manage a multi channel sales platform and ensure customer training.
Responsibilities
Develop sales channels to consumers.
Develop sales to businesses and associated training
Implement our “brick and click” sales strategy
Implement sales processes that will ensure service levels in terms of speed and responsiveness
Manage a sales force that is expected to grow to over 100 people within 5 years
Manage the budget and cash flows of the sales department
Ensure proper resources are recruited and train
Experience
10+ years of experience in sales with related businesses
5+ years of experience managing large sales teams
Skills
1 - Personality / work ethic
Team player (help and respect each other, accept and provide constructive feedback, search best solution for the company not for the individual)
Fast and efficient and very organized
Ability to work under pressure and manage with numbers
2 - Technical skills / previous experience
Strong network already in place for both selling and recruiting
Excellent human management skills
Excellent analytical skills and ability to establish clear priorities to ensure the organization can best support sales
3 - Languages and communication
Excellent written and oral communication
Excellent knowledge of local culture (prior experience abroad valued)
Fluent in Spanish and English (Native Spanish preferred)
Education
Master or MBA
Estudios superiores
