Overview
Monetate is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to join their growing team in Conshohocken, PA. As an active member of the Monetate sales team, the Director of Sales Operations will support the functions critical to Monetate’s sales force productivity. This includes planning, reporting, quota setting/management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, partner/vendor relations, sales compensation design/administration and recruitment of sales talent. This is a great role for someone who wants to get their foot in the door of a growing, venture-backed, high tech startup.
Responsibilities
Develop sales programs to drive growth, account penetration and customer retention
Coordinate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
Assist in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs
Design sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions
Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan
Establish sales documents, sales process consistency and alignment across the organizationAnalyze sales processes, develop best practices and report on new & current sales trends
Compile customer, industry and market data to understand emerging sales challenges, opportunities and needs
Oversee the administration of the CRM (Salesforce.com)
Experience
5-10 years of experience managing sales operations preferably in a software startup environment
Experience using and administering CRM software (Salesforce.com)
Skills
A passion for and/or interest in innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies
Highly analytical, self-motivated and metrics-driven
Strong understanding of sales processes and sales methodologies
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to work well in a team environment
Education
Bachelors degree required
