Director of Systems Administration (Tech Ops)

Overview
We are looking for a Director of Systems Administration to lead a team that is responsible for the implementation of a massively scalable infrastructure to support the company’s multitenant, ASP based analytics products and services. Our ideal candidates will have a broad base of knowledge and be excited to work in a startup environment.
Experience
Minimum 5 – 7 years experience in multi-tenant infrastructure implementation and management with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Minimum 3 years experience working with companies that provide analytics solutions
Strong experience with SaaS solutions, collocation, and third-party integrations
Strong experience implementing and managing web and enterprise infrastructures
Proven ability to manage high-quality, highly scalable storage and processing systems against tight SLAs
Experience defining and implementing technology infrastructure standards, processes, and success metrics
Experience recruiting and training a system management team
Proven ability to collaborate across both technical and non-technical departments
Proven ability to evaluate and articulate tradeoffs and to allocate resources to meet customer and business needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maturity to work in a fast paced, early stage organization
Strong personal integrity and work ethic
Start-up experience and passion
Education
BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
