We are hiring a Director of Training who will be responsible for spearheading the development of training programs and initiatives for Lancope’s customers, employees and partners. This new hands-on role will lead a growing team that will create content and design courses that span non-technical through highly technical end users so this requires a diverse set of materials, approaches and delivery methods (e.g. eLearning, virtual classroom and instructor-led training).
Develop a vision and roadmap for Lancope’s training program, to include customer training, partner training and employee training on Lancope products, via methods to include instructor-led and e-learning.
Develop and manage a process to Incorporate employee, customer and partner insights into the course development process.
Liaison between Professional Services and Product Development to define content and design of training materials on new products or features.
Research, evaluate, and select outside partners, contractors to meet training needs as appropriate.
Develop methods, procedures and systems to support training initiatives
Manage the coordination of resources and delivery of training across all methods (direct, partner, other).
Deliver instructor-led training to Professional Services consultants, customers, partners and employees.
Minimum of 8 years of broad based training experience in a variety of environments including small to mid-sized company in a fast growth/paced company.
Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement a training vision, strategy and action plan/roadmap across a global organization.
Experience in training clients or stakeholders in a technical capacity.
Ability to create end user training materials for Lancope product end users and highly technical training materials for IT systems and network engineers who install and maintain our products in their IT environments.
Ability to interview subject matter experts, understand processes and convert technical content into training materials that effectively accomplishes learning objectives.
Develop, review, and revise learning objectives, course outlines, participant materials, facilitator materials and feedback mechanisms.
Demonstrated ability to create and implement training for multiple delivery mediums (eLearning and instructor-led training).
Knowledge of training and development principles, practices and methods, including needs assessment and instructional design.
Skill and ability to facilitate and conduct instructor-led and/or virtual training.
Communicates with internal and external customers and all levels of management.
Must have the ability to travel up to 40%.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
