Disrupt An Industry - Ruby On Rails Developer Wanted

This is a truly exciting opportunity to disrupt an entire industry. This
is not your run of the mill idea and it has the chance to improve the
lives of millions of people.

How we'd like to work together:

We'd like you to be familiar and adept in working within Agile sprints.

We also want to apply the lean startup method of rolling out our product
with only the bare essentials.

We want to do a soft launch of our product with-in two months of starting
so we need someone who can work full-time on the project.

The big enchilada:

We're serious about this project, prepared, organized and would like to do
a soft launch of this app within two months of starting. We have a long
history working with developers and designers and all of them have
commented on our preparedness and kindness in working with them. We have
an understanding of what you do which will help make your life easier too.

Have strong Ruby on Rails ability as well as experience with Amazon,
Heroku or Rack Space cloud.
Can handle basic social networking scenarios.
Experience with creating custom search on a website is helpful.
Available full-time for the next few months at least and part-time
possibly afterwards.
Living in New York City is a plus but not essential, we can Skype if
you're elsewhere.
For you:

The job pays $68 an hour based on sprints. If sprints can't be met on time
we might need to change to a fixed bid.

Full-time position for 2-3 months and the possibility of a long-term

The foundation of the project is in place and you can come right in and
start creating useful features for the app.

This is a work for hire project.
