Overview
Epic Certified Project manager – Inpatient Orders Implementation project – estimated 10 months
Description:
Experienced, Epic Certified project manager to lead Epic Inpatient Orders Implementation across a large, integrated delivery system. This project is funded as part of a strategic program for Fairview Health Services. This engagement will be for a period of 10 months.
This individual will manage the work of the orders team including:
• Track and manage project plan
• Manage priorities
• Manage decision log
• Manage issue log
• Identify and communicate milestones, integration steps, and dependencies with other Project Managers based on our plans
• Status reports
• Manage risk log
• Manage testing issues and track towards resolution
They will also manage the Inpatient Orders side of integration of existing ambulatory Epic orders with the new implementation for inpatient ordering.
Skills:
• Epic certification in:
• Orders required
• Orders transmittal preferred
• Epicare Ambulatory desirable
• Previous experience in a project manager/team lead role with Epic
• Experience with Epic Flight Plan Methodology
• Demonstrated success working with teams of physicians, clinicians and IT staff
• Experience coordinating work with other teams across a program
• Clinical background a plus
• Excellent communication skills
