The Email Marketing Manager will report directly to the Head of CRM and Analytics. He/she will manage day-to-day email operations including creation and execution of daily customer-facing emails.
The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
The candidate must also thrive in a fast paced environment with highly ambiguous challenges, taking full control and responsibility for devising and executing solutions.
Manage all functions of email campaign creation and execution including copy, design, HTML coding, email scheduling and analysis and cover or step in as needed at any stage
Coordination of customer segmentation and optimization of contact strategies, while overseeing flawless execution of campaigns
Oversee relationship with email and data service providers
Enhance data as needed through internal analysis of customer behaviors and external 3rd party data appends (e.g. ECOA, EVOA, lifestyle coding)
Maintain timely reporting and documentation of email campaigns. Communicate results and provide/implement improvement recommendations
Continually monitor internal testing results and industry best practices. and compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, and spam regulation (CAN/SPAM/COPPA)
Extensive experience managing email campaigns and delivery through one of the major email service providers
Exceptional project management skills and strong attention to detail
Passion for data and metrics
Functional working knowledge of HTML in commercial email
Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer business and consumer behaviors
* Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
