Email Marketing Manager

Our site is a social marketplace focused on the discovery of amazing fashion, design, and art. Users can shop from the community, sell their own things or simply share their style and unique sense of cool.

What We’re Looking For
We're looking for a creative thinker who is extremely organized, has a passion for analyzing data, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Email will be central to our CRM efforts to drive engagement, retention, and sales while also supporting user acquisition and brand building efforts with partners. You must take full control and responsibility for defining strategy, setting goals, and the daily execution of email campaigns within a challenging environment. This position reports to the CEO.
What You’ll Do
Develop campaign strategies and identify opportunities for marketing email campaigns to nurture leads, increase conversion, loyalty, and sales
Manage all functions of email campaign creation and execution including copy, design, HTML coding, email scheduling and launch. Oversee flawless execution of campaigns
Collaborate with others to drive innovation in email marketing programs through development of email strategies including customer segmentation, optimization of contact strategies, A/B testing, and landing pages
Track campaign dependencies, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful campaign implementation/deployment
Analyze results from email marketing campaigns and use insights to inform, develop, and implement future strategies; provide frequent progress reports.
Create and maintain email marketing assets, such as the program calendar, archive of email templates, results and artwork
Oversee relationship with email and data service providers
Monitor industry best practices and compliance with applicable laws including but not limited to permission-based marketing, privacy, and spam regulation (CAN/SPAM/COPPA)

Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience planning and executing email campaigns through one of the major email service providers
Basic HTML coding ability in commercial email
Fluency in email analytics and best practices, passion for data and metrics
Project management skills with ability to manage multiple work streams
Detail oriented, analytical, self starter
Clear ability to develop conclusions & recommendations from data, proactive thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; adaptable to changing business needs
Experience in fashion ecommerce a strong plus
