Twig is an early stage funded company providing e-commerce solutions that will change the way people shop on their sites.
We're at an exciting point in the company -- in the past 6 months we've developed our core product and are closing sales, and now we're looking to grow our engineering team from the ground up to architect our solutions that will touch hundreds of millions of people on top e-commerce sites. We are currently in private beta and will be launching our product on our first client site in August.

We're looking for an exceptional Engineer to join our team. Foremost, you are an inspiring technical leader with a passion for products and a deep understanding of software architecture, development tools, and processes. You will be responsible for growing a team of talented engineers, as well as leading the overall planning, system architecture, execution, and success of the development of our industry disrupting platform. You will work with the software development team and manage the full product developement lifecycle to successfully bring our products to market.
Establish Software Architecture - Able to write intelligible, modular code and comprehensive documentation. Understanding of SVN or Git.
Manage Hardware Infrastructure - Proficient Linux server management skills. Able to distribute loads and properly scale hardware according to growth.
Manage Company Resources - Effectively assign tasks so that developers are able to produce timely results while simultaneously expanding their skill sets.
Mentor Teammates - Work with developers to think through software design. Be able to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Manage Site Operations - Manage site domains, DNS settings, etc.
Passion for great software
Previous engineering team management position
Deep knowledge of Facebook and Twitter APIs
Experience in scaling web applications to meet performance challenges
Experience using Amazon Web Services; RightScale a plus
Able scripting skills to manage data on the backend
Passion for working with Open Source technologies
Previous start-up experience
