Overview
About the role:
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Architect with 5+ years of experience building custom data driven applications to take on the role of Engineering Team Lead, reporting directly to the CEO. This person will be responsible for standing up an engineering team to develop brand-new cutting edge software, using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET/MVC, C#, SQL Server). The individual would be well rounded, a self starter, clever, innovative, and thrive in a small, fast-paced environment, and be able to identify and acquire technical talent.
Responsibilities
Building a technical team, and architecture, and an SDLC that drives quick-to-market software
Interacting within a team to design build data driven web and batch applications
Working directly with the business gathering requirements, designing, developing and testing business solutions
Building customer facing web applications
Integrating B2B web services
Reporting development
Designing database schemas and writing queries/stored procedures
Experience
Experience working directly with business owners formulating technical requirements to solve business problems
5+ years back end development using C#
5+ years web development using ASP.NET and/or MVC, javascript, JQuery, etc.
5 + years database programming experience using SQL Server
Skills
Multi-tiered development experience
Web services experience - both creating and consuming, using SOAP and/or JSON/REST
Education
BS+ in Computer Science
