Enterprise and Key Account Executive-Brooklyn, New York

MakerBot is seeking an experienced Enterprise and Key Account Executive to join our successful sales team. We are looking for experienced strategic account managers to execute our vertically focused sales strategy for the MakerBot 3D Printer and consumables product lines. Successful candidates must have experience in vertical sales to aeronautical, architecture, automobile, defense or education customers in the U.S. This position reports to our VP of Sales and you will be expected to create real and measurable business results.

The MakerBot sales division operates from our Brooklyn, NY headquarters. This position is best suited for highly driven, organized, entrepreneurial, results-obsessed individuals who possess a demonstrated ability to sell sophisticated, technical hardware products.
Develop, maintain and expand relationships with large customers within an assigned area
Responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives
Represent the entire range of MakerBot products and services to assigned verticals and customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned verticals and customers needs and expectations are met
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet sales performance objectives and customers expectations
Meets assigned sales targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
Leads solution development efforts that best address vertical customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience in a vertical business-to-business sales environment selling technical machinery
Start-up and/or high growth experience
Experience selling technology solutions a big plus
Familiarity with 3D printing.
Experience selling AutoCad or SolidWorks
Skills proficiency
This position requires 25-50% travel
