Overview
Epic Bridges certified analyst position for 6 months contract
Location: MN
Rate: Open and expenses paid

Description:

This position implements, modifies, tests and administers interfaces between business and clinical system applications. Liaison between IT personnel and users to resolve procedural questions, assess user needs and recommend modifications.

Skills:
• Epic Bridges Certification
• Experience with HL7 and/or X12 specifications
• Determine impact to interface, document configuration and build changes needed
• Create mapping documents
• Develop interface specifications
• Perform investigation of interface-related business and system requirements identified during design and implementation
• Perform interface configuration / build changes
• Coordinate with the IT staff to assign eGate programmers if changes are needed in the interface engine
• Ability to understand the current configuration and UMP for existing interfaces
• Connect R experience preferred
• Serve as the point person for assigned interfaces
• Coordinate analysis calls
• Coordinate and assist in unit testing of the interface
• Maintain requirements documentation
• Maintain or create documentation for changes
• Update and maintain Bridges interface translation tables
• Run error code reports - investigate and analyze the errors, causes of failure
• Assist with troubleshooting during testing and cut-over
• Work with project manager to maintain a detailed issues list to be reviewed periodically with vendors and internal teams
• Escalate issues or roadblocks encountered during analysis
• Participate in resolving the failed messages and resubmit the messages, correct the cause so errors don't happen before signoff
• Work with the client interface project team to maintain standards for setup and configuration, knowledge exchange
• Train support team during transition to support
