The Event Coordinator assists our Experiential Marketing Team to create and execute unmatched compelling experiences for our clients which include more than 100 large employers seeking to source and hire college-level and diversity talent. Event Coordinators are responsible for coordinating every detail of targeted events from start to finish. The EC should be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision.
What you'll be doing:
Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolutions of any problems that arise
Coordinate events with event site staff
Inspect event facilitates to ensure they conform to client requirements
Consult with customers to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, career fairs, conferences, and conventions
Meet with clients to plan scope and format of events, to establish and monitor budgets, and to review administrative process and event progress
Review event bills for accuracy and approve payment
Plan and develop programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to requirements
Prepare nametags, materials, registration lists, etc.
Close out all events as required
What you'll bring to us:
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
Outstanding professionalism and ability to adapt
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Fantastic customer service skills with proven commitment to excellence
At least 1 year experience managing projects
At least 1 year experience coordinating special events
Proficient using the latest version of Microsoft Office suite
