FIX Connectivity Developer - C++/Python

We are a buy side hedge fund currently expanding for the Winter and New Year. We are looking for an experienced FIX Connectivity developer for our Fixed Income and Swaps teams. If you have experience with these products specifically, great but it is not required. You will be required to have experience with some financial product and experience with one or two financial institutions. If you have experience with multi threaded or high performance systems, you will be immediately considered and reviewed.
Responsibilities
Working within our Market Data and FIXC Group
Experience
5+ years of experience with financial markets/clients
Ability to work with modelers/analytics/optimization
Experience with databases, SQL, query optimization, data modeling
Experience with object oriented programming languages ( C++/Java )
Experience with data warehousing solutions (Netezza, Teradata )
Experience with ETL tools
Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce and other large scale data solutions
Skills
7+ years of software development experience
Experience with FIX Connectivity, Fix Protocol and trouble shooting
Develop tools and scripts in C++ or C# and Python or Perl
Understanding of Linux or Unix systems
Understanding of Windows OS and Virtualization
Experience with RDBMS, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Moody's
Education
Computer Science or similar
