Overview
We are looking for an skilled user experience designer to own a key part of the company and product we are building. We are currently in stealth start-up mode, so we are keeping things a bit hush-hush until we get to speak to candidates one-on-one.
What can we tell you? We are an exciting (doesn't every emerging start-up say that?) opportunity on the apparel/ecommerce side of the online space. We are building out a different type of shopping experience that is more than just a pick an item and drop it in your shopping cart experience -- our concept goes much deeper and is designed to provide the consumer with the highest quality online shopping experience and given them, upon purchase the highest quality -- dare we say luxury -- goods.

Experience
Degree in UI/UX, Graphic Design or related field
3-5 years minimum experience in UI/UX and corporate branding
Desire to keep up with design trends, standards and best practices
Ability to understand and tailor designs to appeal to online shopping and ecommerce styled environments
Exceptional visual design for the web. Online portfolio required
Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Exceptional communication skills
Skills
Timeliness, attention to detail and consistency are a must
Hard working; ability to multitask and complete projects quickly
A creative mindset with a willingness to offer new ideas
Friendly and able to perform in a young and quickly growing work environment
Education
Irrelevant... skill, regardless of classroom training will win the day.
