Overview
We’re looking for a FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER, with the passion and drive to create the “next big thing” in the web-based consumer market.

Responsibilities
Turn mock-ups and designs into full pages complete with CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX, HTML 5
Develop and optimize front-end UI functionality to ensure web applications are rendered consistently in cross-browser environment
Follow industry trends with regard to front-end technologies and techniques
Work closely with both engineering, product and marketing to define and create designs that achieve business objectives and motivate users
Experience
At least 2+ years of Front End Development experience
Experience implementing web 2.0 & social functionality
Experience designing cross platform / browser so that Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari all function nicely
In-depth knowledge of user interface design principles, human factors, user-centered design processes, web-industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototyping / design
Able to work independently, as well collaboratively with other team members
Consumer internet experience and high traffic website experience is critical
Start-up experience is a must
Skills
Experience building localized applications and web sites.
Fluent in AJAX, Javascript, CSS, HTML 5, XHTML
Develop and optimize front-end UI functionality to ensure web applications are rendered consistently in cross-browser environment
Solid knowledge of Adobe software suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash (CS4)
Ability to code functional pages from mockups
Education
Commensurate with Job requirements
