The Field Marketing Executive (FME) is a critical role within Vocalocity’s Indirect Sales Channel. In supporting both the Direct Sale Channel and Channel Managers, the FME will work independently to identify the partner recruitment opportunities within the assigned territory and build an actionable marketing plan to drive results, as well as generate Direct Sales opportunities. Through a combination of attendance and exhibition at association/membership meetings, industry networking events and self-generated recruitment seminars, the FME will identify and qualify potential Vocalocity business partners who can build successful relationships within our indirect sales channel.
You will work closely with the Channel Manager in your assigned territory to evaluate the pulse of your region and develop a successful channel through the identification, collaborative qualification and recruitment of partners within the territory. You will also identify and work events that will generate potential customer leads for the Direct Sales Channel.The successful FME is someone who can quickly identify and understand the opportunities, objections and personalities of their area and attend/exhibit at least two events per week. In-office activity will consist of outreach to event coordinators, follow-up and demo-scheduling for previously identified prospects.
The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic, highly-engaging marketing professional with a passion to succeed and an ability to persuade. Attention to detail and an ability to speak in front of an audience are a must.
3+ years in marketing, sales, or related field
Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce (or similar CRM), Outlook
Experience in the hosted, telecommunications or software industry is preferred
Excellent presentation, communication and written skills
Ability to create actionable go-to-market plans within the assigned territory
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work individually as well as within a team environment
Proven ability to meet and exceed monthly performance goals
