Overview
Pliant Technology has an immediate need for a Firmware Engineer with responsibility for developing SCSI firmware. The successful candidate will design, implement and debug firmware changes on the next generation of Pliant EFDs.
Responsibilities
Minimum 4-6 years experience developing embedded firmware on storage products
Must be proficient with applicable SCSI standards (SBC, SPC, SAS, SAM)
Experience using BusTrace and/or SAS protocol analyzers is preferred
Embedded C++ and assembly language experience required
Working knowledge of the Microsoft software development tools and methods
A track record of significant individual achievement in firmware development
Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver on schedule and to specification
Experience with ARM and distributed multi-processor architectures preferred
BS CS or EE minimum
Experience
Experience developing complex firmware using SCSI is a must.
Experience within the storage industry is also a must.
