Overview
We are a fast growing online advertising startup that is seeking a highly skilled web-application developer with experience in developing complex web applications involving quantitative and qualitative data visualization using Javascript, CSS, and HTML. Applicants must demonstrate deep knowledge of web technologies, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment of a startup, and be able to work independently to meet aggressive deadlines.
We are looking for an individual or agency that can work with us on an ongoing contract basis at a rate of $60 - $75 an hour, based on experience. You need to be located in or near New York City and able to work onsite with us in our Union Square office on an as needed basis. Please provide a link to your online portfolio in your response.

Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of high quality, well-structured and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Communicate effectively with other members of the development team, product manager, client services, and operations to design and implement new features.
Work with data science, sales engineering, and QA teams on integration, testing, and production release.
Provide ongoing production support.
Experience
3+ years professional experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
Experience with AJAX and using jQuery and Flot frameworks.
Experience building complex web applications involving quantitative and qualitative data visualizations from the ground up.
Strong UI design skills.
Experience working with product development and/or client services teams.
Experience with Scrum (or another agile methodology).
Development experience in an online ad serving environment is a big plus.
Skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, troubleshooting, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to source code management tools like SVN.
Knowledge of PHP or other scripting language.
Compensation
We are looking for an individual or agency that can work with us on an ongoing contract basis at a rate of $60 - $75 an hour, based on experience.
