Front-End Developer for PucaTrade

at Late Labs in San Francisco, CA   —   Mar 20, 2014   |
Overview
http://latelabs.com/projects/pucatrade is an online multilateral trading platform currently facilitating the exchange of Magic the Gathering cards via snail-mail. That’s right. Magic the Gathering cards. (It’s awesome, we know). We currently offer our customers free automated trade-matching software, full value for their goods traded by mail on PucaTrade, and trader-protection programs to ensure every trade arrives safely.

This project will involve marked improvements to the existing design and User Interface, the creation of User Profiles to publicly share existing data, and the creation of a Feedback System that rates each customer’s experience for each trade.

Responsibilities
10-15 hours a week of Front-End Development for 6-8 weeks.
Skills
PucaTrade is entirely web-based, and this project will consist of rebuilding and then further expanding the front-end to support the unlimited awesomeness to come. If you’re a front-end developer, you can probably guess what that means: Backbone, Sass, D3, and TDD (w/ QUnit or Jasmine). PS. Would you add another framework/library to the mix? Apply, make your case (concisely), and we’ll discuss.
Compensation
Up to 2% equity in PucaTrade
