Overview
We are looking for a strong Front end technologist. The right fit would be someone who is already well versed or experienced with the frameworks mentioned above, as well as others. This is not a code-only role. You will be our first in house front end developer and should be excited to design and develop our new front end with a strong team of developers. We are growing quickly and this is the best time for someone looking to get into a great startup without much risk involved.
Responsibilities
Design, develope and maintain all aspects the Front End
Create clean, reusable code that scales with our site
Understand front end technology, where it is going, and forecasting our needs
Create AB tests for pages and new features
Experience
Must have previous experience as either a Front end Developer or as a Back end Developer with strong front end ties and interests.
Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
Experience and examples of jQuery, Backbone.js, Node.JS or other frameworks
Experience with PHP, MVC and E-commerce systems is a plus
Skills
Javascript, HTML, CSS
jQuery, Node.JS, Backbone.js, YUI or other frameworks
Python, Perl, Ruby or other scripting languages a plus
PHP or Java experience is a plus
This is not a design role but if you can, great
Education
Experience is more important than degrees but this is a computer science based environment. We are not looking for someone who can build a website but does not know why it functions.
Compensation
Market rate or above as we understand you are the on the cutting edge.
