Front-End Developer with a flair for design

at Unioncy in United Kingdom   —   Jul 05, 2014   |
Main officeRelax nookTerrace
Unioncy is a platform that helps you manage your purchases. We are talking a sort of mix between Pinterest and Evernote.

We’ve built some pretty cool tech to make this happen smoothly and we have a clean “Nordic” design on top.

Before embarking on our journey with Unioncy, our team gained experience from launching and managing online ventures for the world's largest online company builder, Rocket Internet, with companies like Groupon, eBay and Zalando, as well as from running independent online businesses.

We’re in a really exciting phase and want to bring in new skills that complement the core team. Right now, we are specifically looking for a front-end developer with a flair for design that will be part of defining the product and responsible for implementing the front-end solution.

We are a startup, so there needs to be heart involved. We pay, as well as care strongly about aligning our interests, but we cannot afford a veteran salary at this stage. We work from our office in central London.

Strong knowledge/feeling for product design/user behaviour fit (what type of product works where)
Good sense of design and style
Interest in user interface and user experience design
Strong front-end with HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript skills
Good with mockups, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Practical experience from A/B testing and conversion optimisation is a +
