Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the Lead Engineering; daily responsibilities will include:
Building Flash Widgets and Interactive Units
Building Web Pages using JavaScript and CSS
Developing Mobile Web Applications for iPhone and Android Devices
Anyone with HTML5 experience a plus!
Experience
2-5 years experience developing web sites and/or rich interactive applications
Expertise in Flash Development: ActionScript 2 & 3, CPU/Memory optimization, Javascript/Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility, XML, the Object & Embed Tag, Size Optimization
Have professional experience building complex flash widgets or flash ad units
2yr+ Javascript experience: DOM, Experience with JQuery and/or YUI, JSON
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Java/JSP experience a plus
Experience in an agile development process a plus
Ability to take initiative, as well as creative direction
Solid understanding of web standards, web graphics techniques, and site production practices
Skills
A passion for UE, complimentary tools and technologies a plus. Excited to build a great product towards ultimate user delight!
Strong creative and visual skills; ability to explain your thinking; strong interpersonal skills; an ability to work independently and with a group
Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey ideas into tangible form
Supreme attention to detail; a demonstrated mastery of typography, color, and page layout.
