Front-End Engineer

Overview
We're looking for a Front-End Developer to join the team at our brand new (but well-funded) startup. We're based in downtown San Francisco and we can talk about what we do when we meet up, but we think it's pretty cool.

To begin with, we're building a pretty intense web app, and we need you to come and architect and build the front-end side of things. We have a solid design and backend development team, so you're free to concentrate on making this thing super-fast, super-polished and, well, all-round super.
Responsibilities
Develop media rich internet applications with fast rendering time and reusable components using OO Javascript and AJAX
Work closely with product team to determine new features, designs, and priorities
Collaborate with server-side programmers to optimize scalability and efficiency
Suggest new coding practices, recommend architecture changes if appropriate
Technologies we use include: Python, Django, YUI, OO Javascript, AJAX, ActionScript, Flex, Flash, MySQL, Linux...
Experience
Solid OO skills with ability to write fast, elegant, clean code
2+ years experience developing the front-end of complex, high-transaction web applications
Solid in Javascript and good understanding of various frameworks such as YUI, prototype.js, Cheetah, etc.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, AJAX, and other web technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
