Overview
Jux seeks a crack Javascripter with a passion for amazing interfaces. At Jux, you will have a unique opportunity to push the limits of HTML5/CSS3, Javascript-intensive, cross-device experiences && empower millions of internet users to do the same. As a key member of a funded, early-stage startup, you will jump right into a lively collaboration among talented, ambitious developers and product designers as they reinvent the medium.

Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone with extremely high standards who loves creating and improving things to within a hair’s breadth of magic. You should also bring curiosity, flexibility and imagination to your collaboration with the team. While overall excellence and aptitude is the key, it’s essential that you bring a number of demonstrated skills:
Skills
Expert knowledge of Javascript, including scope, context, closure,
AJAX and object-orientation. jQuery savvy is also a must.
Fluency with CSS3, jQuery UI and animation
Clear understanding of cross-device/browser solutions
Demonstrated ability to create Apple-quality interfaces
Passion for social media
3+ years of front-end experience
Other areas you can shine: NoSQL, Rails, Git, SASS, HTML5, Photoshop, community evangelism, trendspotting
Education
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Film Studies or related field.
Compensation
