Front-End Web Developer

at Kixeye in San Francisco, CA   —   Jul 11, 2014   |  
This is a newly created position on our Platform team to lead the design of one of our latest strategic projects. You’re adept at design, implementation and ownership of all things web-related. At KIXEYE, you’ll add polish and a creative edge to a major new web project, and maintain its features as we continue to grow.
What you get to do every day:
Build and optimize web pages, landing pages, and complex web application features using expert-level HTML and CSS.
Create a technical front-end development style guide for the gaming site.
Build reusable CSS and HTML frameworks to simplify development.
Translate Adobe Creative Suite formatted files into optimized web assets.
Uphold application integrity by writing clean, modular, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with Interaction/UX designer, software engineers, and product to deliver a polished, optimized online gaming experience.
What you bring to the role:
BS or equivalent preferred in Web Development or related field.
4+ years of relevant experience as Web Designer/Developer.
Required expert level in HTML and CSS.
Desired skills: HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery or MooTools. Experience with designing for mobile platforms.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain Web properties.
Successful track record working across cross-functional teams (business, design and technology).
Desire to remain at forefront of web design, web development, and online optimization best practices and technologies.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
