Overview
After developing a functional prototype and selling it to several companies including one of the largest telecommunications providers in the US, we're ready to take it to the next level.
We're on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineering / CTO to round out the founding team. This is an opportunity to come in at the ground floor and own the design and delivery of our technology strategy. Think web technologies, distributed computing, and big data.
You must be in the Bay Area / Silicon Valley. Founder-level equity compensation is available.
We have over 30 years of combined experience in Cloud Services, Distributed Networks, and Technology Sales.

Responsibilities
Own the design and delivery of our technology strategy
Experience
WebServices/REST API design
Distributed processing with multi-tiered application architectures
Data Modeling and experience with ORMs
Data Mining/Analytics and strong SQL
Unit and API testing framework knowledge
Skills

Sinatra / Rails 3+ / Ruby 1.9.2+
node/PhantomJS or any other headless browser implementation
EventMachine + Goliath
MongoDB + ActiveRecord or DataMapper
Experience with Cloud Infra PaaS providers (Heroku / EC2, etc.)
Light release engineering/source management setup (.git, continuous integration, etc.)
Web crawler implementations
JavaScript
