Full-stack developer

We are a small, dedicated team building the technology to power new forms of online video. We enjoy finding creative new ways to make video more engaging, informational, and entertaining. We also enjoy solving the complex problems that make it all possible.

We are looking for exceptional engineers to join our core team from design, computer vision, and media backgrounds. You should be able to manage projects independently and embrace thoughtful problem-solving in conditions of uncertainty. We like taking on big, new challenges and responsibilities, and you should too.
Contribute to the technical vision for the company as we expand and scale our platform
Work with lead designer and UI team to architect new user and audience experiences
Build and deploy cloud-based, client-facing software
Manage an existing team of outsourced developers and grow the engineering team to meet the needs of the company
5+ years of experience with modern development tools and methodologies
Experience scaling a start-up is a plus
Online video background is a plus
An entrepreneurial attitude and proven ability to get projects done quickly
An ability and desire to work on many parts of our system, including: web programming, implementing computer vision algorithms, deploying servers and managing server loads, writing database queries and more.
Front-end: HMTL5, Ruby, PHP, yii-framework, javascript, jquery
Back-end: NodeJS, AWS, S3, EC2, MySQL, mongodb
A college degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Background in computer vision and machine learning is a plus
