NYC-based gaming startup Free Awesome is seeking a PHP developer to join us on our mission to build the next generation of online and mobile free-to-play casino and instant win games. Run by serial gaming entrepreneurs and supported by top investors from the lead generation and gaming industries, Free Awesome became profitable only six months after launch. The company is hiring a developer to help take the company to the next level.
This is a full-time position, and compensation is dependent on experience but will include a competitive salary and meaningful equity stake in the company. You'll work out of General Assembly, NYC's hottest startup community and tech workspace. This is an opportunity to learn new and exciting techniques, master your existing talents, and work with a successful and proven team.

Responsibilities
The software developer position gives you a high amount of authority over a robust and organized code base. You will work on interesting and complex problems like novel API integrations, mathematical odds calculations, and application security.
Skills
Years of PHP 5 & MySQL
Experience with integrating APIs
HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and some jQuery
Experience with MVC systems
Experience with Photoshop image slicing
Big plus:
Casino game knowledge
HTML5
SEO understanding
Experience with Zend Framework
Experience with Facebook App Development
