Passion for learning: ability, willingness and drive to learn new concepts and tools.
Good UX/UI design skills: ability to put oneself in the user's shoes and create intuitive interfaces.
Good web design skills, with an understanding of the tradeoffs between beauty and feasibility in web pages.
Comfortable in a collaborative environment and tools such as InVision, Trello, and Podio.
Comfortable with UX/wireframe design using tools such as Mockingbird, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle or Axure.
Extensive experience with visual design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Knowledge of WordPress, Weebly, Drupla and other CMS.
Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.
Webpage implementation (CSS3, HTML5, APIs, templating) is a plus.
