Overview
We are currently building the talent pool for temporary Production Designers to sit on-site at a very well known client in the South Bay area.The ideal candidate is fully knowledgeable in all aspects of production design. You are a collaborative individual, highly organized, extremely detail oriented, capable of working with high expectations, and flexible with demanding deadlines. The opportunity could be anywhere from 3-6 months- possibly ongoing. This is a great opportunity, make sure to apply!
Responsibilities
Work with Design & Production Supervisors to implement and refine creative content across a range of sizes and languages
· Create and update mechanical templates with new specifications
· Apply creative content, using brand standards, to multiple deliverables
· Kern type for large scale use
· Manage a high volume workload, including foreign language versions
· Prepare thorough and accurate file releases for vendors
· Create image comps for placement and design or production direction
Experience
BA in Graphic Arts
· 5+ years corporate work experience
· Must have a high level of expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
· Strong typographic skills
· Clear understanding of scale and proportion relating to multiple size iterations
· Excellent knowledge of digital file management and server navigation required
· Pre-press experience and knowledge of offset and digital printing processes, are a plus
· Adaptable, laid-back, focused, and efficient
Skills
Must be a expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, CS5
Expert in color retouching, and color management for hi-res images
Great attention to detail, and ability to handle rapid changes
Familiar with 3D
