Overview

Venture backed startup in the Start Engine accelerator program is seeking an experienced graphic designer/visual designer to collaborate with development team to prepare graphic design assets for web use.

Requirements:
-Understanding of graphic design fundamentals and principles including typography, color use, composition, use of space and layout.
-Strong online portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and purpose-driven design.
-High level of competence in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
-Desire to constantly learn new skills and push the boundaries in design.
-Self-motivated, team player and positive attitude.

Pluses
-Competence in Fireworks, OmniGraffle, Balsamiq, Axure or similar.
-Familiarity with HTML, CSS and Javascript.
-Entrepreneurially mindedness
-Advertising experience
