Responsibilities
Help design consumer-facing web interface and application interactions
Participate with founding team in formal and informal usability testing
Iterate quickly and improve designs for user flows based on “real-time” data
Work with developers to ensure design is preserved and functionality works as intended
Produce and maintain product visuals such as feature graphics, header artwork, etc
Other related graphic design duties
Experience
Design for consumer focused websites & applications
XHTML & CSS coding
HTML & email design
User interface design & wire-framing
Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fireworks
Skills
Team development with tools like Basecamp
Comfort with Javascript programming
PHP programming experience
Ability to learn quickly
Education
Bachelor's degree (preferably a B.A. in Design, Media Art; or B.S. in Computer Science, Interaction Design--but if you're smart, it doesn't matter what you majored in)
Compensation
Substantial (depending on your passion, commitment, and abilities)
