Overview
We are an innovative and growing new startup in NYC in need of a developer with strong frontend experience. Experience with writing HTML, CSS and jQuery code that interfaces seamlessly with backend PHP code is the primary requirement. You must also be able to follow existing code structures and develop powerful, easy to decipher, beautiful code. Most of the work will be done on-site. A creative mindset and eye for detail are also important.
Skills
1) Strong grasp of HTML (including HTML5 basics), CSS, and JavaScript using jQuery
2) PHP and MySQL experience, working in LAMP environments
3) Complete understanding of MVC and OOP concepts
4) Good communication skills
5) Based in NYC
Experience with the HTML5 Boilerplate, CSS3, LESS or Apache Solr is a plus.
