We’re looking for our first Growth Analyst at DocuSign. Your key objectives will be to use your analytical horsepower to understand user behavior and turn that into whatever makes us grow customers through virality or an improved experience, deepening their relationship with DocuSign. You will be free to select and use the tools that help you get the answers, plan the tests and uncover the gems that help us scale faster than any other enterprise software company. You’ll be surrounded by some of the smartest product managers, marketers, analysts and data infrastructure people you’ll ever work with.
What you get to do every day:
Architect DocuSign for usage metrics using tools like MixPanel, Google Analytics and Optimiziely.
Research, design, develop, and validate statistical models to explain past behavior and to predict future behavior across all products.
Develop machine learning algorithms to optimize how, when, and where DocuSign interacts with sales prospects, existing customers to maximize product use and user satisfaction.
Interface with product engineering and BI engineering to ensure optimal instrumentation of DocuSign products, and appropriate visualizations of reported data.
Generate machine learning algorithms to spot trends across user behavior that rise above the noise.
Set up and help manage multiple simultaneous AB and multivariate tests; interpret and evangelize results.
Be an active participant in helping DocuSign identify new opportunities to improve their products.
Suggest and implement integration of first and third party data to build richer data sets to mine.
B.S required; M.S. or PhD preferred, with concentration in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a Quantitative Science.
2+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally with a focus on rapid feedback cycle industries (gaming, social, e-commerce, online media etc.)
Proficient in machine learning methodologies (regression, classification and unsupervised approaches)
Experience designing and interpreting AB and multivariate tests.
Expertise with one of the following scripting languages; Python, R, Java, Matlab
Experience using online tools for usage analysis (Google Analytics, MixPanel, etc.).
Proficiency in SQL, experience with running queries against large datasets in relational databases, some ETL experience
Good communication skills – getting people excited about data is a big plus!
