Overview
Work in a fun and fast-paced environment, managing a world-class genetic research platform and helping our research team change the world. We are looking for an experienced HPC Systems Administrator to join our team.
Experience
5+ years of experience managing Linux based systems in high-performance computing environments (RedHat/CentOS is plus)
Skills
through understanding of high-performance computing concepts, computation clusters, batch job processing, parallel computing
expert in managing batch schedulers: SGE, Slurm
security and access control: Linux PAM, LDAP authentication, VPN, RSA SecurID, logging and audit
deployment automation, kickstart
configuration management and change control (cfengine, Puppet)
monitoring systems (ganglia, nagios)
distributed filesystems (GlusterFS, Cepth, Lustre) and databases (including nosql flavors)
Python and shell scripting
software packaging/RPM building experience
knowledge of cloud computing concepts
working knowledge with Amazon EC2 is a plus
