Overview
Grooveshark is looking for Front End Web Developers to join Grooveshark’s web team. Applicants should be experts in HTML and CSS. The Front End Developer is an integral part of the Digital media Department, committed to the on-going and professional development of the user interface, as well as creating the best possible user experience.
Grooveshark is an online, music-streaming service dedicated to bringing on-demand music to the world. Founded in 2006 by two University of Florida students, Grooveshark streams songs to 30 million people around the world.
Our open-office environment encourages collaboration and creative thinking. Cubicles are strictly prohibited. Not yet convinced? We care for our employees very much.

Responsibilities
Working with the Web team to implement new functionality and improve existing functionality
Autonomously prototype new potential Grooveshark features
Ensure complete consistency across all major browsers for all web functionality
Skills
Expert level experience with HTML and CSS
A strong portfolio of various web pages (web/mobile apps are a plus)
Comfortable working on a team, but with a good amount of autonomy
If asked if you were a designer or developer, you’d say “developer”
Be familiar with the latest features of HTML and CSS
