As Big Data Engineer, you are a key player on our team - you will lead the architecture definition and development of key systems for data processing centralizing the handling of social aspects and analysis of the user’s interactions from mobile and web applications, as well as integration of data from our 3rd party partners.
You will apply you broad knowledge of building scalable system for big data processing, and be able to recommend technology, and build working solutions. Hadoop, Hive and other cutting edge platforms for data collection integration and processing. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who will proactively seek ways to improve our software architecture and our development process.

Experience
Experience with Hadoop/Hive
At least five plus years of system software development experience using Unix tools and programming languages.
Excellent object oriented software coding and architecture skills. Understanding of the architecture of application frameworks, databases and web services.
Skilled in algorithm design, math and having an analytical personality.
As senior lead, ability to lead team and create a strong team culture, and set good standards and practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers, understands customer needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
BS or MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science
Bonus items:
Experience with noSQL solutions such as hBase, MongoDB or similar.
Experience with distributed and high availability systems.
Experience with multiple programming languages, Java, Python, C++
